How exactly did he respect the owners, that is us taxpayers, if I may ask?

Mario Camilleri now says that he never donated to the MLP but to the PN (http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20150304/local/broker-mario-camilleri-breaks-silence-on-cafe-premier-deal.558394).

It’s not what he says that is a problem. After all, people caught with their pants down would do anything to retaliate (And, we are a nation wired to use tu quoque logic). Anyone with a critical eye can see that.

It’s the commentators believing Camilleri without realising that they are being had by Muscat and his colleagues again. It seems as if these commentators know that Muscat et al did the wrong thing and they have finally found a tu quoque argument to use against those pointing fingers.

They found their proverbial lifeline and Muscat gave it to them through Camilleri.

The press release was engineered and the Times doesn’t even realise that it is being used and abused. And, the electorate is either masochistic or is suffering from collective Stockholm syndrome or is absolutely stupid.

An East Nigeria Prime Minister sold his family’s valueless bank to the nation for a huge sum of money that earned him the admiration of most of his subjects, who were financing the corrupt deal.

That was when I decided that it was time for me to return home to Malta.

Little did I know that in my native country I would find the same type of corruption endorsed shamelessly by people like Vince Borg.

I had been brought up to believe that the love of money was the “root of all evil” and not something always laudable.

It’s always much easier to give away others’ money.

On second thoughts, that post is well-written so probably the man is well-educated and holds a decent job somewhere. So this post stinks even more.

Look out for him, he’s probably working on a deal of his own with the Prime Minister from our taxes.

I suppose Saddam Hussein also did well spending all his country’s resources on lavish palaces, over-the-top parties and unspeakable amounts of luxury goods.

After all, it added a cultural heritage and probably pissed off all those silly poor people, with their having-to-feed-their-family nonsense.

Is this comment made in jest, or is he actually serious?
