It’s hard to express these concepts in Maltese. I don’t think there’s anything that comes close to reading between the lines, or devil in the detail.

Wrong choice of words? There are a number of expressions in addition to ‘read the fine print’.

For example: “As they say the devil is in the detail” ……”That much is clear when you read between the lines.”

I believe Dr Busuttil said these words when speaking about the Individual Investor Programme; but this is something I have read on a blog written in English. Although I expect at some point he has uttered these same sentiments in his native language.

This medical school targets Far East and south -east Asia rich students who for some reason or other do not make the grade for the London campus.
