These are the typical type of excuses fraudsters use to let things linger on and for time to be wasted.

In fact, even if there is now an effort by them to negotiate, you should not relent in pursuing an investigation simultaneously: the negotiation tactic by such people will be yet another time wasting tool.

I would say there’s no time to be lost in pursuing an investigation, especially since you now have more light on the nature and extent of John Dalli’s manner of conducting business.

In fact the statute of limitations is probably why they are having “a hard time finding” and other excuses. Once the case is time-barred, it is lost.

The Upstate Seven should address its case to the FBI fraud section immediately if it hasn’t done so already. Bearing in mind that if the investigations are taken over by the Maltese end, they risk fizzling out into nothing. The current American Ambassador to Malta also appears to be a Joseph Muscat fan.

Yes, we have organized ourselves.

There are seven of us and we are in the process of trying to figure out what to do.

Claire Gaudi Borda has pretty much written us off. She did not want us to contact anyone, told us to wait and let her hunt our funds.

But after 18 months, it is time to take action. Any ideas from you guys are helpful. Thanks for your comments.

Claire Gauci Borda (John Dalli’s daughter) kept telling me it was on the way but it never was sent to my account.

After that she changed her e-mail and I could not correspond with her any more.

Debbie Wicker, our go-between, got ill with me and told me to leave Claire out of it and just contact LB (Lady Bird) aka Mary Swan.

Worse than taking their money is the the way they strung them along for so long, telling them they would get their funds, as long as they didn’t speak to anyone about the situation.

They are having a hard time finding the funds, or so I have heard.
