Why on earth do you imagine I do this to ‘spread a message’?

I think you’re confusing me with a cult leader or politician.

I write a blog. And a newspaper column. The fact that some people have given me status beyond that in their heads serves only to show how little else there is to read.

I know you would never agree, and you would be probably right. But I believe it’s time for you to compromise by opening social media Facebook/Twitter profiles to spread your message more forcefully.

He seems to think that I give a damn if he whips up hatred for me among people who can’t spell and whose parents, if not they too, were born and raised in the gutter.

I imagine he fancies himself a modern-day Madame Defarge.

And I say that advisedly, given that there is something profoundly unmasculine about him that I can’t quite put my finger on yet.

Or am I somehow mistaken?
