In reply to Dave. True. Why wasn't this collective investment scheme regulated? Why is no one carrying out an investigation? Shame on the authorities concerned. If I were a foreign investor and I read this in the news, I'd run a mile away from Malta.

Sometimes I wonder how it is possible for some people to be so deceitful and persistent in that deceit, so tenacious in their pursuit of what they want and persistent in the illegal or unethical ways in which they go about things.

They quite literally think they can manage and coach those being lied to by simply sending such manipulative emails like that.

This is why the “think positive” religion is so often used in these scams. You get convinced that thinking the shit is about to hit the fan is a “negative” thought putting your life at risk. Backing out is construed as cowardice.

I hope these people get their money back, and some sort of compensation.
