In this day and age, baby-kissing by any politician to garner and promote popularity is the height of hypocrisy.

Anybody with half a brain must surely realise that the use of any child in this manner is just an arrogant display of false empathy and insincerity, and is wrong on so many levels.

It really is just political fodder, (I am being polite here), for the myth believers and the cameras.

I can’t understand why in the 21st century, the people behind him find this worthy of applause.

I don’t think hypocrite is quite the right word. It’s not as though he thinks one thing and does another.

The point is that Muscat doesn’t care about anything – his views are entirely utilitarian and self-serving.

He will do and say whatever it pays him to do and say, and this is not in conflict with his real feelings or opinions because he doesn’t have any.
