I agree with Oscar Wilde that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit and when discussing deadly serious events all pretentious attempts at sarcasm are no wit at all.

Nothing that you wrote contradicts my comment that the atrocities identified by me were carried out in abundance by typical Muslims all over the world and who were convinced that they were only obeying a duty imposed on them by their Holy Koran.

The exception mentioned by you in Libya only proves the rule as cruelly practiced by the overwhelming majority of devout Muslims all over the world including the shore of Libya where Christians were shockingly beheaded and on board refugee boats because Christians were selectively thrown overboard to drown.

Unlike you I think that there is a lot to worry about, much more so when someone with a Maltese surname defends rampant cruel multiple murders by Muslims who believe that they are fulfilling a religious duty in the name of Allah. . I do not think that is ridiculous. That is abhorrent.

To complete the picture, I may add that the “Philadelphia” that took the US marines to Tripoli sailed from Malta.

May I make it clear, that I am not suggesting that Malta should launch an attack on Tripoli, but that Malta should not hesitate to help an international attempt to curb the activity of these criminals engaged in human trafficking across the Mediterranean.

They are the actions of main-line Muslims obeying a Koran that imposes an obligation to kill “infidels” on all healthy adult Muslim males.

They are doing what the Koran obliges them to do That is why the supposedly moderate Muslims, are so inconspicuous except perfunctorily and very briefly after some particularly outrageous atrocity.

The fact that this abomination is pounced upon by racists to promote their evil doctrine is regrettable but the blame does not lie with Christians who are being slaughtered solely because they are vulnerable Christians.

After all, we are still not sure that the argument in the boat was about survival, but we do know that the victims were chosen because they were Christian.

Whatever the argument was, the crime was reported to the police by other survivors, who, irrespective of their religion (they are not likely to have been Christian, and most probably were Muslim), felt nauseated by the brutality of the perpetrators.

I would never have allowed a person who, you claim, thinks in terms of “evil and dastardly Muslims” and “nice Christians like us” to express myself in the way you did.

Yesterday, I saw on the BBC the hour-long documentary “Kill the Christians” depicting the plight of Christians in a number of mainly Muslim countries.

I hope that by mentioning this I am not putting myself in the same category as Martin, whoever he may be.

Please come to the present and admit that today it is Christians who are being hated, who are having their throat sliced, their women abducted into slavery and their children massacred in classrooms. And it is fundamentalist Muslims who are doing it on a large scale all over the globe.

Oh do stop it, please, and if you cannot stop it at least let others express their disgust (even if you are not disgusted).
