Why would I be “scared to walk outside”? I’m sorry, but I don’t understand. Is this hamalli-speak, or what?

They look like something scraped off the bottom of Strada Stretta and they don’t even realise it.

They’re not even remotely beautiful, and like all idiots, they don’t understand that being young is a VERY temporary state of affairs.

By the time they’re my age, they’ll look like those women you see on the market in Bormla, who looked like the mayor of Qormi and ‘Sendy’ back in their day.
