The story I got from my family relatives years ago is that these cowardly “soldiers of steel”, when in their prime, took it on themselves to seek revenge on Nationalist for being Nationalists.

And this was on top of burning police stations and terrifying old people and very young children on that day in April of 1958.

When he tried to reason with the mob he was almost lynched.

Want a summary of 1958? It was Labour trying to destroy Maltese workers’ livelihoods (and injure a few) so they could then blame it on the British.

I challenge Henry Frendo and the intellectual sophists to a televised debate. Someone needs to set the record straight on the travesty that is Maltese history.
