It is all a typical manipulation of the media by Joseph Muscat. It’s not a coincidence that the inauguration of the interconnector was set for this particular Thursday. It is the Thursday that precedes ‘silence day’ and Joseph Muscat managed to get all (but one) newspapers’ front page showing him as the ‘factotum’ of the project but also trying to send a positive message to the nationalist side appearing with and conveniently praising Lawrence Gonzi.

We have again a Joseph Muscat on the eve of a voting process showing himself as a messenger of ‘positivity’ while on same day having Simon Busuttil being shown on the negative side by accusing Prime Minister of missing an occasion to unite the nation.
