You’re totally missing the point. If you have entrusted your savings with a company that has John Dalli among its unofficial shareholders and his daughter Claire Gauci Borda actually on its board of directors, would you not be twice as worried to hear that the company is facing financial difficulties and/or that it has lost millions for some of its investors? I know I would be.

And with regards to the new deputy governor of the Central Bank of Malta; given the dismal performance of his companies and the fact that he seems to have no problem entering into business arrangements with people who can’t get enough of corruption, don’t you think that something’s amiss?

Do these facts give you any kind of reassurance as to his competence and choices?
