In reply to Lara. What is sad about all this, is the fact that these 'unbalanced, insane and unethical' professionals are voted to Parliament by even more unbalanced, unethical, egotistic and barely educated voters who believe that someone like Etienne Grech is 'normal'.

Where are the law commissioner, the minister of internal affairs,the minister for health, the head of organ donations etc to give their input about whether this is legal, what measures there are to prevent this from happening and what changes need to be made in the anatomy lab, mortuary etc so that this does not occur?

Where is the commissioner of police to explain what would happen to a person who steals an organ and how the police can and will proceed against him and whether this, if it is a crime, is time barred?

What is actually absurd is that we assume that people who make it into this or that profession are balanced, sane, ethical, upstanding etc.

We therefore do not have checks and balances in key areas.

Look where that got us, and because most professions rally around their own, we only mostly get to see the tip of the iceberg.
