Exactly. In fact I replied to one of Eddy Privitera’s comments on timesofmalta.com.

He said that the majority of Marsascala residents are in favour of the project.

I told him that even if they are (which I don’t believe) it doesn’t matter. Marsascala belongs to the rest of Malta just as much as it belongs to them.

I’m sorry, but how exactly is this a Marsascala issue? Malta is 17 miles by nine.

I learned that at school (hence the miles) and I’m pretty sure it hasn’t grown since.

I don’t think this is a done deal.

Joseph did not anticipate this groundswell of opposition, even from within his party.

How will this story end?

Here is my take: the Jordanian will not accept another piece of land other than the one he was promised and gets out of the deal.

Joseph will blame the Opposition for the lost investment.
