How disgusting. The step Muscat will be taking in evicting the farmers shows what a heartless person he is.

He has made money his God and will pay homage to it irrespective of any harm he might be causing.

Perhaps I’m the one who’s stupid, or politically naive, but I don’t understand how Labour can claim to be the socialist or the workers’ party and treat farmers in such a horrible manner.

Labour’s political philosophy seems to verge further and further towards the right and constantly seems to embrace a harsh, uncaring capitalist philosophy that stamps on the working class and their rights.

I’m not exactly about to embrace the hammer and sickle in order to eliminate the bourgeoisie or whatever, but I don’t recall feeling such disgust when PN were in power, even though I strongly disagreed with them a few times (mostly on social issues).

They cannot claim to be truly liberal if they are willing to treat people like this, no matter how much pomp and circumstance they trot out when it comes to LGBT rights (and I’m someone who strongly advocates for issues related to the gay community).

This entire thing stinks.
