This is the very person who put a policeman-shelter to guard his home on a street other than his. What did he care that the shelter jutted into the middle of the street as long as he was fine.

SPK, acronym for “some people’s kids.” Used when something so stupid is said or done… that the only explanation is they weren’t taught any better by their parents.

When these kids grow up they assume they are entitled to park where no one is allowed to park. Figures.

What about the real permanent head of the institution, viz. the Clerk of the House?

Is he/she considered to operate under the thumb, and according to the whims, of the Speaker even in matters which, strictly speaking, do not fall within the ambit of the latter’s office?

After all, if I remember correctly, the Speaker’s car previously used to be parked in the area reserved for members’ vehicles in the public street and not in the Palace yard.

Oh, so it’s probably not a bomb threat Anglu is scared about.

He’s probably concerned that we plebs might scratch his car when he parks it there.

It’s understandable, after all he holds the highest post in parliamen and we’re just a bunch of commoners.
