Not to know of the blatant daily corruption would make him an idiot. To know about it and do nothing makes him no gentleman at all.

The least I would do, if I were in his position, would be to leave the Labour Party. Doing any less makes one an accomplice in corruption, and therefore corrupt.

A nation that has newly fought for the right to abandon a promise in favour of a better one was one that was appropriately conditioned to a different set of aims and values.

Divorce in Malta was never on the agenda for humane reasons.

I know men don’t ‘control’ their women, but Joseph Muscat does not know this (look at the way he behaves with his wife) and he thinks that Godfrey Farrugia should control his partner.

If Godfrey cannot control Marlene, Muscat will get the chance to humiliate him again.

In parliament, the party leaders are not the party leaders but the prime minister and the leader of the Opposition. The whip is an entirely distinct role.

Also, there is a whip because the prime minister and the Opposition leader have more than enough to do as it is without spending their time rounding up MPs.
