Maltese units of measure: 1 tumolo = 1.124 square metres

The government is saying that the land in question will be 40,000 square metres =
35.59 tumoli

In fact the total area being considered for the total university design is 100,000 square metres = 88.97 tumoli

The intention is for 5 faculty buildings (including Arts, Medicine, Science and Engineering).

The next most interesting factor is that the land will be “rented out” for one or two periods of 99 years.

The project value is 140 million. 20 million annually over a 7 year period.

In reply to PWG. Excuse me? A salesman is someone who is capable of successfully selling a product without unnecessarily compromising on its price. Anyone can "sell" a product if the price is zero. Muscat is not a salesman. He is a used car salesman able only to dish out lemons.

I was only being sarcastic.

I think it’s corruption through and through. He’s also a bad negotiator because a good one would have made sure to get a better deal for Malta so that he wouldn’t have to explain to us how this is not corruption.

However it’s primarily a very corrupt deal.
