I can personally vouch for that. Facebook has refused to remove even blatantly violent racist content that I reported. Expecting Facebook to remove a post disagreeing with a Maltese government’s plans would be ridiculous.

Ira Losco would have removed it herself because she is a coward and never takes a political stand lest she alienate her ‘fans’.

In which case, she should never have accepted the role of goodwill ambassador for the environment from a Mintoffian environment minister.

Miss Losco should have the good sense to know that her chances of making it in the entertainment industry are long since gone, and that if she wishes to find relevance now, it can only be by using her high profile to gain credibility in another field altogether.

For that, she will be respected. But if she’s scared off by a bunch of hamalli posting insults, there’s no hope of that, is there.
