Joe Gaffarena (Marco’s father) has been doing the same for many years.

Joe had squatted illegally on several large plots of government land in the past and they ended up as his property.

The Daewoo showroom on Mdina Road, Qormi was one of them.

In reply to Keen memory. Sadly I think you are right. Concepts of good governance, transparency and meritocracy appear difficult for many Maltese to grasp when you discuss matters with them. Electricity prices or ministerial favours are much more important.
