Further corruption: adopting the least costly solution to shut people up making sure not to rock the boat.

Why not ask a boarded-out inspector how come he became close friends with him after investigating a case in Qormi, and how that inspector can afford a villa in H’Attard near San Anton Palace, worth over a million euros, which has been extensively renovated.

And what’s worse is that Malta Parks will continue telling you, after all this and after they’ve given out factories to sandwich PACKERS – not even producers of anything – and water bottlers – as though we have a myriad natural springs to draw from – that unfortunately they have no more space industrial space available.

I keep having flashbacks to that Labour pre-election parody of a Nationalist home where the ‘daughter’ says in frustration, “It’s as though they bloody own the place….Five more years of corruption and gideb.”

We have seen more arrogance and corruption in the last 25 months than we saw in the last 25 years.

I am inclined to think that there is nothing more for this Government to do than dish out so many corrupt deals that people become burnt out trying to oppose the flow and become desensitized to corruption.

When one thinks that dirty money has such a hold on power in Malta one has to wonder how many good wo/men have been left standing.
