The Zammits did not become corrupt in the last two years under the Labour government. Why did the Nationalist government do nothing to them?

Today’s sitting re. case involving Marco Gaffarena was held at noon in Courtroom 19. The case was presided over by Judge Joseph R. Micallef.

Inspector Roderick Zammit was repeatedly seen lingering outside the courtroom wearing plain clothes. He was also seen checking the list of cases which was affixed to the noticeboard just outside.

What really worries me is the fact that from all the stories now coming out it has become clear that this has been going on for years.

Both Nationalist and Labour administrations seem incapable of controlling these criminal kingpins.

Michael Cassar was in charge of both the Vice Squad and the Economic Crimes Unit for a long time, and then he headed the Secret Service for about two years under this government.

Now he is Police Commissioner and he is being asked to act and say why he did not act earlier in his other roles.
