How could I ever forget the “Labour golden years” when thugs were recruited into the Malta Police Force, the Task Force, the AFM and the MLP regiment of “soldiers of steel”!

You should remember that I was forced into an illegal compulsory retirement from my post of Police Medical Officer, ostensibly on “grounds of public interest”.

Actually it was because the attempt to frame me before the Public Service Commission by an A/Commissioner of Police that had failed after I proved that it was based on perjured false evidence.

That acting C. of P. was soon rewarded by an appointment as substantive Police Commissioner and he was later side-lined to a Colonel in the AFM Task Force, without ever having had any qualification for a sub-Lieutenant (not even for an NCO corporal).

Those (un)Happy Days are here again to haunt us.
