Nor does he understand that the issue is not the language but the context.

I was not even remotely offended, have heard that expression countless times before (it’s actually really dated, used by men twice his age), and am relatively immune to spoken obscenities.

But I still think he’s an ill-bred hick from the sticks to have spoken that way in parliament.

In a bar it would have been a different matter.

It’s not the word itself which is objectionable, but the context in which it was used.

This champion of the lower social classes fails to realise that the main disrespect he committed was towards himself.

And then we are already 18 months into the 2014-2020 Structural Funds period, and no sight of any actual project proposal calls. At this rate, the first projects might start in around June 2016 but more likely beginning of 2017. So basically 2 whole years lost. Comparing this to 2007-2013 period – calls were already out by June 2007.

I was near Dingli on the Monday following Labour’s victory in March 2013 when the whole village was preparing to ravage and savage the rest of Malta, as were others elsewhere, together with their idol.

I cannot describe the stunned sensation that terrible orgy gave me that early morning.

Little by little, during the months since that event, I am realizing why and for whom they did it- and that feeling grows even more ominous.
