I think Jozef thinks in Italian.

It is practically impossible to translate Italian into English without rewriting the whole thing, because the construction and ‘forma mentis’ of Italian narrative speech and descriptive language are alien to English.

Am I right, Jozef?

Who said anything about rights? It’s his duty, not his right.

Rights are a given. It’s duty that has to be explained, it seems, in a country that discusses rights endlessly and subjectively and which NEVER mentions the word ‘duty’.

I don’t agree with institutionalised religion, but as a fellow human being and countryman, Archbishop Scicluna has every right to voice his opinion, especially considering his position of authority in Malta.

We need more people with a backbone like him in positions of authority, not complacent idiots like most of the current government officials.
