Allowing cabinet ministers to do any job other their ministerial one is wrong on so many levels.

The irony is that far too many Maltese people wouldn’t understand why this is so.

Looks like our PM is one of them.

The two teams who agree to shift the rules would in that case suffer the consequences or benefit (as the case may be) from the new rules, equally.

In the case of this code of ethics, the Prime Mister is making laxer conditions for himself and the persons he alone decides can be paid from the public’s taxes while growing their own business from the benefits of being what has essentially become positions above the law.

These are unilateral rules with unilateral benefits and since I assume that Franco Debono is a stupid man, there must be another reason for him trying to fool the public if you are quoting him correctly.
