Why don’t they tell us in plain and simple language that they WANT to send Willie Mangion a yearly cheque just for doing nothing?

That will show more respect to the taxpayer than the blatant lies they are resorting to.

May I ask the Sliema Local Council to send a traffic warden to slap a ticket on the offending car on the promenade?

Although the gesture may just be symbolic, since Taghna Llkollers don’t pay fines, at least the Council would show that it disapproves of this high-handedness.

A few bollards in the wide space at the pedestrian crossing would also be in order.
