I beg to differ. He doesn’t get what he wants, which is public admiration and more specifically the admiration of people like me whose opinion he, perversely, values more than the opinion of his hamalli Facebook friends.

And now it’s too late for winning admiration. That ship has sailed, rats and all.

The man is a narcissistic. Without a constant drip-feed of admiration, they go into meltdown.
