If there were a ‘worst Labour government scandal’ competition I would vote for the Cafe Premier.

As serious as the Old Mint Street scandal is, I think that the Cafe Premier scandal was more serious because the prime minister himself was involved.

He took the morally corrupt decision and he went through the motions to execute it.

He knowingly kept the Commissioner of Land out of it to avoid having his decision being questioned. He misinformed Cabinet about the court action option.

Then, after the National Audit Office report was made public, he lied and denied being involved in the discussions.

Michael Falzon should do the honourable thing and reveal who at the Auberge de Castille is really behind these corrupt arrangements with our property and funds.

The prime minister is his boss – Joseph Muscat is the Minister for Lands; Michael Falzon is just his PS.

What is the connection with those people who visited the 4th floor?

Why is it so damn difficult for the Government to be transparent and keep its word on being accountable?

What a joke and an insult to the public.
