Now just where was our President at the time of the protest. I was expecting to see her there, but then my eye sight is not that good any more.

Ms President, you belong to the people and should have been supporting them in their moment of anguish.

Being Mother Theresa is not enough in this day and age. Get back to Qormi or in this case Valletta and smell the odour of the gathered crowd crying and pleading for what they may be about to lose.

Only then will you understand their worries and heartaches.

Even British Governor Sir Maurice Dorman stood foursquare with the Maltese people when faced with adversity.

He was not afraid to go against his own British government.
