At least under the Nationalists we had the rule of law though institutions were weak. That has gone already.

Exactly like Labour is saying now about Zonqor that there are no other sites.

You really believe that from ALL Malta there was no other place for that power station?

You must be a blind Nationalist.

I do not know if Mintoff squatted on that land but I know that the courts (disgustingly) gave him thousands for it and also keeping it and now his daughters are selling it also.

You are all wrong about the Delimara power station.

I have already asked you to give another place as to where the power station should have been with the same benefits of the present site.

I am still waiting.

As for Mintoff’s L-Għarix, the land never belonged to him. He squatted on the land and built the place up.

I can’t wait, actually. I lived under the gross and catastrophic corruption and abuse of the Labour government from the age of 6 to the age of 23, and after two years of this I really don’t think I can take anymore because I can see through past experience exactly where it is heading.

And no, the two parties are not just as bad. If that were the case I would have occasionally voted Labour for a change, but I’m neither nuts nor stupid.

Catastrophically flawed logic: the fact that there are scandals means that the government is transparent. Which would mean that the more scandals there are, the more transparent the government is.

The essential point she overlooks is that the scandals are not uncovered by the government but by the press. Which means that the government is NOT transparent at all, besides being very corrupt.

But don’t expect anything better from somebody raised with such conflicting values. Her father made most of his money under the Golden Years government by turning the Finance Minister, Lino Spiteri, into a family friend.

When you grow up like that, you’re bound not to know wrong from right.

If I remember correctly around election time there was a request to make some land belonging to Dom Mintoff’s daughters available for development.

Is it possible that the argument about Zonqor Point and ODZ areas could serve as basis for changing the status of their property?
