People aren’t ‘afraid’ of saying how they vote. They just find it more convenient not to, because fence-sitting is a Maltese sport.

In the morning one is discussing a new criminal legislation with the stakeholders amd in the afternoon …preparing the meeting the same ‘stakeholders’ in you office, to discuss how to defend his criminal case in court…

In the morning meeting the developers, discussing MEPA policy and ODZ BOUNDARIES, and in the afternoon designing plans for you client. And meeting with the tycoon who wants to build a hotel in a green area to put forward in front of MEPA, but with the signature of the architect/Minister

Nobody should be embarrassed of his personal choice…. But the Maltese, particuarily those in their 50’s and older are afraid to speak the truth…. They all believe that muscat’s labour is reminiscent of or even worse than KMB’s and Mintoff’s Labour…which is true

Google “Harper attack on democracy” and you are lost for choices of articles. And read this latest one, “Harper government stifling dissent….”. Lines like this could sound eerily familiar:
“groups that it says were denied money by the government or subject to other forms of intimidation.”

“The coalition of 200 organizations and 500 individuals accuses the government of taking away funding or otherwise intimidating organizations that it disagrees with.”

“We have borne witness to hundreds of cases in which individuals, organizations and institutions have been intimidated, defunded, shut down or vilified by the federal government,”

“And it points to the “muzzling” of several government watchdog agencies”

“It also accuses the government of undermining the work of the military ombudsman, the Commission for Public Complaints against the RCMP, the federal commissioner of the environment and the correctional services investigator.”

And there are all the deals with China which PM Harper is very fond of. Apart from the fact that the lines of Socialism and Conservatism are very blurry in many countries, it shows just how completely un-Socialist the Socialists in Malta are. They resemble the right of centre almost more than the right wing in Malta.

Why wouldn’t you feel comfortable saying how you are going to vote?

Are you embarrassed of your choice?

Should we still trust surveys?

Think of it – if someone phones to ask how you are going to vote will you feel comfortable answering?

I won’t.

That is why I am not using my name here. As for this assertion about how Labour wins I am not so sure.

The electorate is changing and changing fast, does anyone think the so-called switchers are all naturally born Nationalists (whatever that means)?
