That’s how you are going to remain. I know what I know and very close friends of mine who worked for him know a lot more and witnessed a lot more than me.

The problem is that I have no intention of causing Daphne any problems. You should know how people like Gaffarena and his ilk deal with anyone who spill the beans.

Still, if you read this article again the main thing that should jump out at you is the demolishing of the house where the murder took place. Destroying evidence is a criminal offence.

Also the court should have placed a court order on the property to make sure that it remains intact until the court proceedings are concluded.

These two things raise very serious questions and those who allowed them to happen should be held accountable.

There is also the question of planning permission for the block of flats that was erected. Allegedly, these were erected without planning permission but it was granted post facto.

I have to leave it there. I don’t want to give you an ear ache.

I know there are many things in which I fail badly, but you have to admit that I am quite an astute social observer, and when the otherwise socially ambitious begin mixing intimately with sordid types who they wouldn’t even have scraped off their shoes 10 years ago, you know that Maltese society hasn’t suddenly become more socially democratic, but that the link is drugs, money, crime or sex, sometimes all of those things.

The massive increase in the rate of marital breakdown in Malta over the last few years is, I would say, directly linked to all of this. As you too will know because of your work experience, the drugs market is made to grow by provoking social breakdown; as it grows, it triggers further social breakdown and the increase is exponential.

All the standards of behaviour that exist to safeguard civilisation and the rule of law against precisely this sort of damage are deliberately eroded by those who have a vested interest in doing so.

It has been happening for years, but working towards the goal of what happened in March 2013, which in itself was not the end-goal but the gateway to full access and control of those safeguards which are meant to protect society but which are now being used against society because they are in the hands of organised crime and the corrupt.
