I know several former nuns. And you probably do, too. The late Monica Lopez, who ran the Melitensia section at the University of Malta library, was a Dorothean nun in a former life and my English teacher, Sister Lopez.

A quick search on the net, for similar headlines, shows that both are used, though ‘woman’ is used more. Worse than this is Simon’s paternalistic smiling look towards her, as if admiring a little girl doing a cutie thing.
