Why is he holding this Festa Familja in Birkirkara and not at The Stable in Valletta?

Festa Familja mal-Ministru ta’ bla familja.

They are even calling from his office – not sure if his personal office or if paid by taxpayer money.

Last week I received a call from a lady (no number shown) who went on about this Festa Familja thing and specified how they will have ‘ikel b’abbundanza’. What a waste of time and money.

Festa Familja? Originali ukoll. The PN has been holding events with that name for as long as I care to remember.

Wasn’t this to be a fresh government with new ideas?

Two and a half years ago, Muscat looked so young and energetic when compared to a fatigued and troubled Gonzi that 19,000, who should have known better, abandoned the PN.

Today, two and a half years later, it is Muscat who has lost his shine and is increasingly being associated with a corrupt and inept government while Simon Busuttil is looking bright and resourceful with a strong determination to clean out the stables.

In an election where the choice would ultimately fall between Muscat and Busuttil as Baxxter rightly points out, there is a fair chance that many of those 19,000 who swayed the election in favour of the MLP would seriously consider shifting their vote once again.

Is the way to the Maltese electorate’s heart – through their stomach?

I would have thought it was through their pockets but with each breaking scandal it must be getting more and more difficult to find a financial through for every snout.

The next best thing, make them fatter with traditional carbs and other sugars, that should take care of their handful of functioning brain cells.

He has the gall to say ‘dhul b’xejn’ as if he is therefore doing people a favour.

Have we so become used to abuse that we mostly do not even realize when it is happening?

The ‘friends of’ anyone do not have any rights or privilages over public property, don’t you think?
