Ranier Fsadni wrote an opinion piece for Times of Malta called “Why Corruption Matters”.

This was my response.

An individual or group who have been given free rein to polute and plunder because society as a whole has been complacent to their behaviour and see there are no consequences to their actions will continue down that path, dragging other similar weak-minded to follow their example.

Corruption unchecked will breed more corruption until it is unrecognisable.

In my opinion if a newspaper is selective in reporting corruption being committed by some, and corruption goes unreported, corruption will continue, and their reading audience will suffer.
