The Maltese are living in a Financial Services dreamworld cocoon thinking they’re managing superbly with the rest of the world not noticing just how corrupt the whole set-up is.

It’s all legal is it?

What percentage of these blinkered corruption enablers are either lawyers, accountants or bankers?

Any vestige of prestige attached to the professions fallen into ridicule.

It is good for us that the Italian authorities are proactively keeping tabs on Maltese companies and on shady Italians operating and living in Malta, and not waiting for the Malta Gaming Authority (or the Malta police) to smell a rat.

And this notwithstanding that the MGA increased its staff substantially since Chris Cardona took over in March 2013.

Most of the staff were coincidentally from the stable-boy’s electoral district.
