The same accountability principles for wrong doings and rampant corruption don’t apply to the sleazy politicians, parliamentary members or their cronies in Malta. All institutions there have morphed into impotence……..and more.

It is entirely natural for the populace to make fun of the people who rule over it. And make no mistake – rule over us they do.

They are in no way ‘the people’s representatives’. Yes, they are elected, but once there, they jolly well do as they please for at least five years (longer in the case of civil servants and government officials).

The only outlet that’s left to us is a bit of criticism and mockery. Anything else is illegal or impossible.

This, incidentally, is the reason I fell out with so many members of the Inner Circle. They are not away of the gulf that exist between us and them.

The funniest remarks are from those members of the idiocracy who said that I’m jealous of Michelle because she has children and I don’t have any.
