There is no collateral for a loan guarantee. That’s why it’s called a loan guarantee and that’s why it’s there. There is no collateral. Period.

And the government’s press statement this evening is full of praise for its remaining party donors who are bravely holding the fort by diving the shares between them.

They are not the real owners of Electrogas anymore – we are the new owners in virtue of the government’s 88-million-euro “can’t give you the details because of economic turmoil” guarantee.

The company is now simply a manager.
