Why? Is he Labour now?

I’ve known Philip Rizzo well before he ran that Surfside joint at Font Ghadir in Sliema and that beach hotel in Taormina, the Villa Sant’Andrea, was it (together with the de Giorgios I believe) and my view of him has never changed. He seemed very Nazzjonalist at the time.

You have that the wrong way round.

Philip Rizzo’s smarming up to Labour in return for a job revealed his dubious character in all its glory.

A cheap opportunitist, unprincipled and hungry for money and attention.

And no, not all men of his age go gaga over yet another vulgar hamalla who can spot a desperate old man when she sees one.

It’s a very particular taste, for men who are not hamalli themselves.

I’ve been around a bit too, you know.

Most men of Rizzo’s background wouldn’t even ‘see’ somebody like Olivia Farrugia because she is Not Their Kind. They would blank her, boobs and all. Put simply, you have to like them like that.
