Read the full details of the story (not on Fox News) and you will see that he is not allowed out of prison, will not go to lectures, does not have access to the library, and will study by ‘remote learning’ from his prison cell, with occasional contact – in the prison – from a university liaison officer.

I had dropped off one of my sons at the university gates and he was waiting right there. I was completely taken aback because he was supposed to be serving a 15-year prison term. I rang the authorities and made a fuss about it and was told that prisoners are allowed out to go to university. I said, this is a cocaine trafficker, and you are allowing him around university students. Are you insane? Malta is one hell of a sick place.
