Someone who doesn’t care about harm to himself, noise pollution and thousands of euros up in smoke is not going to care about pollution caused through burning some “fireworks rubbish”, is he?

Unfortunately there is no law that specifies how the to dispose of pyrotechnic waste. Usually it is burnt or dumped into a well. How primitive!

Besides the waste, over 250 tons of pyrotechnic material is burnt each year in Malta during the ‘festa’ season most of which is toxic but I do not see anything happening soon especially under this administration headed by Muscat.
