My top concern is our Prime Minister lying through his teeth about almost everything he says.

He cannot be trusted to make the best choices for our country. Or if not best, at least good ones.

So if it’s true that a rate of transfer of once a month had to turn into ten a day, the certainty that there will be a major catastrophe in Marsaxlokk goes from once every 10,000 years up to once every 30 years.

Now factor in the progressive increase in the probability of human error or negligence with each filling operation and the fact that that old LNG tanker is contracted for the next 18 years.

And all that love for the Sawt seems to be more like a death embrace. No wonder Konrad bought his property in Sliema – he knows what’s written in the contract.

LNG is most dangerous during transfer (in its liquid form).

Marsacala residents could have lived with the gamble of one ship transfer every month for use in power plant.

With a bunkering operation that could be one ship every week or day.

So the long line of ships waiting to enter the Freeport will get longer as ships line up to fill up at Marsaxlokk.

The queue of ships is already very visible from Marsascala and as it gets longer it will be a lovely sight from the Sliema promenade.

Better visit Marsaxlokk before all is lost.
