John Attard Montalto and Michael Falzon were my neighbours in Stella Maris parish, for heaven’s sake, and I really have no problem with that. They’re not just any old Manuel Cuschieri type Laburisti, either. One was a cabinet minister and the other is a PS.

As I recall, Alex Sceberras Trigona is from my parish too.

You would only marry somebody that old, ugly, boring and stingy, when you are 30 years younger and not ugly yourself, if you think you have no other perceptible options.

I don’t know why you’re so touchy about it. There were plenty of Mintoffiani in the street where I grew up, including John Attard Montalto just across the way, but it didn’t bother me at all.
