Is this his way of steering the bank to always accommodate Labour at the expense of depositors and shareholders?

No wonder Frederick Mifsud Bonnici’s chairmanship was not renewed, to make way for such a submissive puppet.

The European Central Bank is considering asking John Cassar White, the present government-appointed chairman, to refrain from participating in the bank’s business decisions related to the government and all its companies and authorities. What a certificate of good governance that is.

It had to be the European Central Bank to censure the Bank of Valletta, doing the job that should have been done by the Central Bank of Malta, the Malta Financial Services Authority and the bank’s auditors.
