It’s a committee. Yes, I probably used the word ‘honorary’ wrongly. I meant it in the sense that they are not paid and that they are there for purely decorative purposes as they don’t actually get to make any decisions.

You will have noticed that the National Festivities Committee has more or less disappeared or ceded to the one person with the full-time contract and salary.
