4G technology has only just started life as a commercial product and while Finnish, Swedish and South Korean companies have just commenced testing of what promises to be a much faster communications network, the commercial use of 5G is at least 5 years away.

That’s because the investment in such technologies is so huge that telco operators need to achieve their ROI on the 4G investment first before rolling 5G out for public and business use.
