Owned. He was in financial meltdown some years ago and everything was shut down.

He didn’t pay rent on his Portomaso restaurants for ages.

The meat outfit was where Scotts supermarket in Burmarrad is now.

The restaurants were called, unimaginatively, Argentinian Steak House, but there were several others.

In reply to Barabbas Borg. I have no idea. I was in the fourth form at the time and Maltese football was the last thing on my mind, nor is there anything on the internet, of course. I suppose you will have to ask some Valletta FC oldies like Carlo Seychell.
