I worked my guts out for 5 decades, had a reasonable career in several countries in a domain most Maltese people wouldn’t have even heard of 50 years ago (the arts).

I do not rub shoulder with strippers, politicians or dodgy people (because I don’t need to).

I don’t have a boat (because when I want to go on holiday I pay for travel tickets and on a daily basis I keep busy.

I also don’t happen to be a pathetic show-off.

And, no – I’m not envious of this ‘blokka silg’ who seems to have some kind of severe erectile dysfunction. Why else would he need two dozen bimbos to get aroused?
