Arriva branding, not colours – you can’t stop someone from using a colour.

If I am not mistaken, when the contract with Arriva was terminated by the government it was stipulated that the Arriva colours should be removed from ALL buses by a certain date.

But a large number of buses used by Autobus de Leon still sport the Arriva colours.

Yes. That theory was tested and confirmed on some European subway systems when they replaced the carriages with brand new ones. Graffiti disappeared overnight.

The sign says ‘except for public transport’ – u iva, public transport, Transport Malta…I wonder if they would have given me a lift to Valletta if I asked.
