Your comment on unemployment is rather offensive to those 6.5%. The rest is slightly irritating to those with no property to rent, or who do not work in any of the niche activities you listed. They’re seen their wealth stagnate or drop while everyone else is raking it in.

Also, you are wrong on there being a few Maltese working in hospitality, construction and trades.

5.6% work in construction, and 28.6% work in tourism or directly related sectors. That’s a third of the workforce. A whopping one fourth work in the public sector.
